AA App Switcher
Last Updated: September 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how AA App Switcher ("AA App Switcher", "we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use the AA App Switcher Android application.

Privacy at a glance: AA App Switcher does not require an account and does not collect or sell personal information. Information required for the core functionality of the app is processed locally on your Android device, unless you explicitly choose to use a feature that shares information through another application.

1. Information We Collect

AA App Switcher does not require you to create an account and does not intentionally collect personal information such as your name, phone number, address, contacts, photos, messages, passwords, or payment information.

The app does not include advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting services that collect information from users.

2. Information Processed on Your Device

AA App Switcher processes certain information locally on your device to provide its core functionality.

Selected Applications

When you configure AA App Switcher, you can select applications that you want to access through the app switcher. The app may process application names and package identifiers needed to identify and launch your selected applications.

This configuration information is used for the app switcher and is stored locally on your device. It is not transmitted to our servers by AA App Switcher.

Usage Access

AA App Switcher may request Android's Usage Access permission. This permission is used to determine the application currently in the foreground so that the app switcher can provide the appropriate quick-switching behavior.

Usage information accessed for this purpose is processed by the app for its functionality and is not uploaded to our servers or sold to third parties.

3. Display Over Other Apps Permission

AA App Switcher requests Android's "Display over other apps" (overlay) permission because its primary functionality requires displaying the app switcher controls above other applications.

The overlay is used only to provide the quick app-switching functionality selected by the user.

4. Internet Access

AA App Switcher uses Internet access for limited functionality, including checking whether a newer version of the application is available.

The application checks the configured public version information source for an available app update. This request does not require you to provide personal information.

5. Sharing

AA App Switcher provides a Share feature that uses Android's native sharing functionality.

When you choose to use the Share feature, the sharing information is passed to the application you select through Android's standard sharing system. The receiving application may process the shared information according to its own privacy policy.

AA App Switcher does not control how another application handles information that you choose to share with it.

6. Data Storage

App configuration and preferences required for AA App Switcher's functionality may be stored locally on your Android device.

We do not operate a user account system or a backend database for storing your AA App Switcher configuration.

7. Data Sharing and Selling

We do not sell your personal information.

AA App Switcher does not intentionally transmit your personal information to third parties for advertising, analytics, or marketing purposes.

Information may leave your device when you explicitly use Android's sharing functionality or when the application accesses an external Internet resource for its update-checking functionality.

8. Advertising

AA App Switcher does not currently contain advertisements and does not use advertising SDKs to serve personalized advertisements.

9. Children's Privacy

AA App Switcher is a general-purpose utility application and is not specifically directed toward children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through AA App Switcher.

10. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to limit the handling of information required for the app's functionality. Configuration information is primarily stored and processed locally on the user's device.

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

11. Your Choices

You can control the permissions granted to AA App Switcher through Android's system settings.

You may revoke permissions such as Display over other apps and Usage Access at any time through Android settings. Revoking these permissions may prevent some or all of the app's core functionality from working.

You may also remove the application from your device at any time.

12. Third-Party Applications and Services

AA App Switcher may interact with Android system functionality and applications installed on your device, including applications you select through the sharing or app-switching features.

Third-party applications are governed by their own privacy policies and terms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party applications.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to AA App Switcher, applicable requirements, or our privacy practices.

Any updated version will be published on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
